Village description
Previously it was a Roman settlement, then it belonged to the giudicato of Torres. In the old town some houses still preserve details of Aragonese architecture, contemporaneous of the parish church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. In the suburban area there is the rocky church of Sant'Antonio Abate, as well as the rural church of Santa Maria di Sauccu, surrounded by "cumbessias", the typical small houses for believers. Finally, the nuraghe Orolo gives a testimony of the glorious Nuragic culture.
