3rd day: From Supramonte to Monte Gonare
Stages along the route: Supramonte Camping, Orgosolo centre, Galanoli, Loretta Attesu, Mamoiada centre, Monte Gonare

The third day of the journey sees us moving in the municipal land of Orgosolo and Mamoiada, arriving at Monte Gonare in the Sarule area.
We can admire the magnificent murals in the residential centre of Orgosolo. The village’s charm comes from the beauty of the splendid unspoilt scenery which its vast territory offers to the appreciative gazes of visitors.
We set off in the direction of Mamoiada, passing by Galanoli. Following Sae sos Pardes and Su Nudecrarju de Zia Minnia in the Mamoiada countryside, we reach the country church of Ns Signora di Loreto, with its medieval architectural style.
Having visited the church, we continue towards the residential centre of Mamoiada, a pleasant hillside village whose land is made up of pastures rich with livestock and vineyards, as well as numerous craft workshops. The caravan of Ballu Tundu a Caddu stops here for lunch and offers our participants the possibility to visit the Mediterranean Mask Museum, a set piece from an anthropological and folklore perspective.
The journey then continues with a charming ride inside a forest of fantastic live oak in the direction of Monte Gonare (1083m). The 17th century sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin rises up on the highest peak. We stop overnight in this atmosphere rich in history, sacredness and nature at local accommodation where the evening leaves you with the right impression of the folklore of dance troupes and tenor groups of Mamoiada and Sarule.
